“ I got the chicken kabob plate. The shirazi salad was really good, very refreshing. The rice was good and the chicken was juicy. There were nine pieces of meat and four pieces of pita bread. I definitely did not finish it all haha, had leftovers. Really good choice and a good price, especially in a mall. Overall, I would come back again! ”
“ I have no clue how this place is a 2.9 star when it's one of the best kabob places you can order on this side of the SGV. I went on a Monday evening at the Santa Anita Mall, they are located right in the food court. It was very busy and I ordered their chicken and beef combo which comes with a side. I got the Shirazi salad which is a seasoned cucumber and tomato "salsa". There were lots of people at the food court so it was quite loud, but as a take-out restaurant, that is to be expected. The chicken and beef were both outstanding and well marinated, with the rice perfectly cooked long grain. The Shirazi salad was excellent as well. The portions were enough for two people. The pita bread was simple, but that is to be expected. They also give free packets of sumac seasoning which is a kind touch. ”

After some research, it appears this chain of restaurants might be the original quick-service version of kabobs. Once I ordered my tilapia, it took about ten minutes to prepare, so it tasted very fresh. And so. Much. Rice. Between the large selection of fish, the rice, and the side salad, I left very full and content--without the guilt of eating fast food. It's a bit more expensive than other choices around this food court, but you get what you pay for and worth it. ”
“ Came here for lunch inside the food court at The Shops at Santa Anita. There was a constantly on and off line to this place. Pricing was reasonable compared to some local mediterranean food spots. We ordered the #12A Persian Koubideh Beef plate and #15 Cornish Game Hen. Food was fresh. The beef and chicken were pretty juice and flavorful. Rice was ok. We had to ask for complimentary sauces like the yogurt sauce (tastes like a very mild yogurt sauce), hot sauce (tastes like a sour acidic buffalo wing sauce), and a mild green salsa verde like sauce. We also paid for a chimichurri sauce and it was very good. We ordered the pink lemonade and it included free refills for it at the self-serve dispenser by cashier. It's a less sweet or watered down version of pink lemonade but goes well with the food. Overall, delicious and good value. ”
“ After a two hour bowling marathon at Bowlero Arcadia, my friends from work and myself were ready to chow down. The food court was conveniently located right outside the bowling alley. Perfect place to hang out for the evening. Massis Kabob was our pick. First time trying Armenian foods for me. A couple of my friends chipped in and treated me dinner. So very kind of them. Thank you my friends! I ended up getting #11 Chicken Kabob Boneless just the way it comes with one row of boneless chicken without the skewer LOL, a side cup of shirazi salad, one marinated tomato, one grilled jalapeno, and slices of pita bread over a bed of basmati rice. The entire plate was full of deliciousness and goodness. Chicken was very tender moist and tasty... 7 big chunks! Shirazi salad was citrusy and refreshing. Marinated tomato was amazing. Jalapeno is very hot only if you get one of them seeds in your mouth... just eat around the seeds LOL. Pita bread was soft and chewy. Basmatic rice was light fluffy and aromatic. Just get it!!! They do have other meats and fish, too. Everyone at our table had the same compliments about the foods. Delish! I am sold! Massis is now my go-to friend for kabobs. Staff was friendly, too. Prices are very reasonable for the huge portions. Massis is a keeper. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! ”
